Consulting Philosophy

Early in his career, John made a deliberate choice: instead of just building what he was told to build, he spent the time to actually understand the techniques and systems behind construction, so he could sit down with clients and architects and help them design something both good and realistic to build.

That philosophy launched his company in 1977 and shaped four and a half decades of projects across Canada. It’s the same philosophy John now applies in Costa Rica — ask the hard questions early, budget honestly, and treat pre-construction planning as the stage that decides whether the rest of the project goes smoothly.
